‘small steps, BIG MOVES’
Group Learning and Rhythmic Movement for:
Stage 4 (Years 7-8)

An engaging curriculum-based term program, fostering interpersonal skills and improving mental and physical health.

During Years 7 - 8 students undergo a significant transition from primary to secondary school, and face a range of challenges relating to academic factors (progress, achievement, motivation and engagement) as well as social and emotional wellbeing.

Our program provides comprehensive support, equipping students with effective strategies to manage unfamiliar learning environments, peer pressure and bullying, while promoting informed decision-making and fostering genuine connections.

By creating a supportive, inclusive yet cheerful learning environment, the program allows students to explore and apply self-regulation, communication, and teamwork skills.

Learning new movement skills that can be applied in a variety of physical activity contexts and encourage a lifetime of physical activity is a highlight for participants, thanks to our proprietary dance fitness modules.
